  • 1. Consultation

    In our initial conversation, we’ll explore your vision for the project and discuss the scope, time-line, and pricing. After the consultation, I’ll send you a proposal summarising the discussed project, the final quote, and a proposition of a project calendar. This calendar will include content submission deadlines and sign-off dates as well as all calls that we'll arrange, So that you’re always up-to-date with my progress. When you decide to go ahead with the project, I will send you the contract for your review to make sure we’re on the same page. Once we’ve finalised the details, the contract is signed, and a deposit is made, we'll move on to the preparation stage.

  • 2. Analysis

    Before we kick off our project together, you will fill out a design brief to help me understand your desired direction and goals. Within the brief, there will be also a place for you to share visual inspiration — the goal for this section is for you to present the typography, colours, or imagery that you feel lines up with your desired aesthetic. If we are working on a packaging project for an already developed brand, I will also ask you for your brand strategy description or brand guide along with any branding elements and text copy that you want me to use. Then, we’ll schedule a discovery session to go through any possible questions together.

  • 3. Research

    After I gather information from our discovery session and your visual inspirations, I’ll research the environment in which the design will be used, the needs of the users, and the ways in which the design will be able to serve its purpose and stand out. This research is crucial in building a strong strategic foundation before I can begin the next stage of the project.

  • 4. Development

    Next, I will explore and develop design concepts. We’ll begin with the brand strategy to make sure the designs will always be driven by what’s best for your target audience.  I will then present 2 initial design concepts and we will then collaborate to choose the one that best addresses the needs of your target audience. This allows us to dig deep into your ideal aesthetic and create the best solution to effectively represent you and your business, as well as stand the test of time. Fonts, graphics, colours, and illustrations begin to form and develop a presence and theme. This is where you start to see the vision come to life! It is especially important at this stage that you provide honest, detailed feedback.

  • 5. Creation

    Once you’ve approved the overall concept, I will begin designing the final creation and input any refinements you would like to see. It is at this time that I will ask you specific questions to make sure that my creative executions are meeting the needs and goals of your target audience. We will also schedule a call to go over the completed design and any feedback you may have. This is where we will fine tune the design and make sure the end product is fit for launch.

  • 4. Handover

    Once any additional refinements are made, we will wrap up the project and let your new design shine. You will be billed for your remaining balance and as soon as the final payment is received, I will send you a download link to access all your files. Then it’s time to celebrate!
