Gli Aironi, Italy

GliAironi it’s a family story first. Five generations deep rooted in rice fields of the Vercelli area in Italy. The name comes almost by chance inspired by herons once rare in the region, a symbol of respecting nature rather than just farming. They’re obsessed with quality not in a stiff way, but as a kind of quiet, everyday pursuit. Carnaroli rice sits at the heart of it all selected, controlled, and shaped not just for chefs but for anyone who loves real texture and taste. Over time they became a bit adventurous, creating smoked Carnaroli, a Japanese-inspired black rice sake, and other unique products. It’s rice, simple, but presented with a kind of curiosity and respect that makes it stand out. There’s also a focus on tradition and innovation together sustainability, careful farming, and a style that keeps the character of each grain alive from field to plate. Italian rice culture, deep roots, and a gentle push toward new ideas.
