Harper & Bone is a premium pet food brand, Spanish company. Harper & Bone is regarded as one of the more ethical pet food brands.

Rather than having the animals “speak” in a typical way, they imagined their inner monologues, giving the brand a witty, warm, slightly subversive tone. The brand world is playful: in storytelling, Harper and Bone might go surfing, do yoga, sing around a campfire — all while thinking (in their own minds) about food, adventures, etc.

The name is a clever play: “Harper” feels like a proper name (and is used for the cat character), while “Bone” immediately evokes something related to dogs (bones) — so together they represent both cats and dogs in the brand identity.
